FIFTEEN ARTISTS ARE PRESENT AT THE EXHIBITION OF THE PAINTER'S IMITATIONS The initiative of the Tuscan-Sardinian Association inaugurates at the Modern Art Centre From "The Tirreno" newspaper, February 2nd, 2004 Pisa. The first exhibition market of the painter's imitation has been inaugurated in the Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery, on the Medicean Lungarno, organized and promoted by ATSAA (Tuscan- Sardinian Art and Handicraft association) with the patronage of the Province and Municipality. The painter's imitation is not to be considered a sterile virtuosity, but an intimate and concrete care of the taste of beauty. The recent artistic experimentation have called for the attention of the artists and operators in the art field, a desire, almost a taste, for going over the great masters footprints of the past who associated remarkable technical skills for the expression of concepts, ideas and deep meanings which may edify the society. Today "the First Prize Painter's imitations Exhibition Market" inaugurates at 5.30 p.m. in the expository saloons of the Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery, on the Medicean Lungarno, organized by the Tuscan-Sardinian association, with the patronage of the Province and Municipality of Pisa. An exhibition organized within the activities for enhancing and recovering of this kind of art, this important national exhibition has collected works of artists (Italian and not) operating and coming from all over Italy. The exhibition opens 10-12.30 a.m. and 4.30-7.30 p.m. until March 3rd. |
